The heart turns fuller and more textured, where geranium, rose, jasmine de Grasse, ylang ylang, clove buds, and cassis create a lush floral-fruity warmth that feels opulent without losing its polish. Why you’ll love it
The aldehydes and bergamot give it a bright, lifted opening that makes the rose-oud structure feel fresher and more modern. This is also consistent with Roja’s own description of Taif Aoud as a rose-oud style updated with cassis and aldehydes.
Rose, jasmine, ylang ylang, and cassis make the heart feel plush and luminous, while the clove adds just enough spice to keep it from becoming too soft. This is my interpretation of the official note structure.
The base is where it gets truly luxurious: aoud, frankincense, labdanum, vanilla, and benzoin give it a smooth smoky warmth with strong presence and a very elegant finish. This is my interpretation of the listed notes.
